Capital Projects
What are Capital Projects?
Capital projects support the growth and enrichment of Butler's
physical campus and learning community. These projects and
initiatives change as Butler changes with the times. Your support
is crucial to keeping Butler on the leading edge of liberal
arts-based higher education. Please consider earmarking your gift
for one of these exciting projects.
Butler Performing Arts Complex
New construction and major renovations to Lilly Hall and
Robertson Hall create enhanced performance and classroom spaces to
serve Butler's growing arts programs. The Performing Arts Complex project
builds upon the existing physical facilities of the Jordan College
of Fine Arts to support Butler's nationally recognized education
programs and collaborative relationships with community arts
organizations.
The Richard M. Fairbanks Center for Communication and
Technology
The Fairbanks Center and its programs embody a spirit of
interdisciplinary collaboration that Butler University believes
will define the future of communication and education. Completed in
2001, it houses the communication and technology programs from both
the College of Communication and the College of Liberal Arts and
Sciences, including:
- The Eugene S. Pulliam School of Journalism
- The Computer Science Program
- The Communication Sciences and Disorders Program
- The Creative Media & Entertainment Program
- The Media, Rhetoric & Culture Program
- The Organizational Communication & Leadership Program
- The Strategic Communication Program
