Foundation Relations
The foundation relations program aims to increase the amount of
private foundation grants made to Butler University academic
programs, outreach and special projects. We work closely with the
university's deans, development researchers, Office of Sponsored
Programs, faculty, and development directors to provide various
foundation-related services to the university. These activities
range from identifying foundation funding opportunities to
assisting with project and proposal development, conducting
foundation site-visits, providing grantsmanship training,
facilitating the submission of grant proposals, and acting as
stewards of grants we have received.
We seek to provide a service that is both strategic and
coordinated. We assist in taking great ideas and making them into
fundable projects in partnership with foundations whose funding
initiatives align with the university's strengths.
