The Gender Studies minor at Butler University is an interdisciplinary program founded on the premise that Gender is a historical and variable cultural construct affecting all persons.

The program is supported by faculty from a variety of disciplines including: Anthropology, Political Science, Philosophy, Media & Cultural studies, Queer Theory, Sociology, Psychology, History, Literature, and Ethnic Studies.
