Financial Assistance for International Students

Freshman Academic Scholarships

To Apply: Complete the Application for Freshman Admission and Scholarships.

Application Date: Jan. 15 (complete date).
*Complete applications for admission received between Nov. 15 and Feb. 15 will be considered for scholarship based on available funds and the quality of the application pool.

Selection Criteria: Awards are based on the student's academic record-SAT or ACT scores, class rank, high school curriculum and extracurricular involvement at the time of admission.

Renewable? Yes. As long as the student upholds the academic standards outlined in the scholarship offer.

Athletic Grants-in-Aid (Athletic Scholarship)

To Apply: Contact the Department of Athletics at (800) 368-6852, extension 9375 or check out their website, www.butlersports.com

Application Date: None

Award Amounts: vary depending on the athletic program

Selection Criteria: Athletic ability as determined by the coach.

Notes: Awards are made in thirteen NCAA Division I athletic programs. Men's football, men and women's track and field, women's swimming are non-scholarship programs.

Jordan College of Fine Arts Talent Awards

To Apply: In addition to the Application for Freshman admission and Scholarships, the JCFA Departmental Application and an audition are required for dance, music, media arts and theatre awards. Check out the JCFA website for audition dates or to download the JCFA departmental application.
