Payment Plans
Butler University is pleased to offer several opportunities to
help all families maximize the resources they have set aside to
invest in a Butler education. Payment options and educational loans
allow families to make personal choices regarding the balance that
remains after financial aid. Financing options are
available to all families, even those who do not apply for
financial aid.

Payment
Freshman who participate in new student registration
and returning students will receive the fall semester bill
electronically in mid-July; payment is due the first week of
August. Spring semester bills are published in December and payment
is due the first week of January. American Express, Discover and
MasterCard are accepted via the E-Pay system.
Monthly Payment Plan
The University offers a payment plan for the fall and spring
semesters. To participate, students must enroll in the payment plan
through their my.butler.edu account during the
designated enrollment dates. The payment plan allows for the
semester charges of tuition, fees, on-campus room and university
meals to be divided into manageable installments. The payment plan
is available for a nominal fee.
Pre-Payment of Tuition
Families may purchase future semesters of tuition at the current
tuition rate by making full payment in advance. In paying a lump
sum prior to the beginning of the fall semester, families lock in
the current year tuition rate for the pre-paid semesters. Specific
