Invigorate and Inspire Yourself with Healthful Activities at
the CFV
There are many ways to participate at the CFV, ways that you can
promote and support your spiritual, emotional and physical health
and have fun doing it. All programs are offered to the Butler
University Community and are free of charge.
Yoga
When: Thursday evenings from 7:15-8:30 p.m.
Fall session from Sept. 10-Nov. 19, 2009 (no class October 15)
Join us for an invigorating and relaxing session taught by
Butler yoga instructor Jerrilee Lucas. The sessions will take place
on the third floor and mats will be provided. You may attend as
many classes as you like and pre-registration is not
required.
Meditation
When: Fridays from 2-3 p.m.
Fall session begins Sept. 12-Dec. 11, 2009
Taught as a secular practice, meditation is a way to calm and
focus the mind. Practitioners meet in the contemplation room on the
second floor. Instruction is always provided. Drop in any time.
Movie Night
Water, the Great Mystery-co-sponsored by the Center for
Faith and Vocation, Center for Urban Ecology and ECO
When: Tuesday Oct. 6, 2009 from 7-9 p.m.
Combine entertainment with thought-provoking thematic elements.
See first rate movies and, the popcorn is included!
Big Questions
When: Afternoons from 12-1:30 p.m. (lunch
provided)
Sept. 25, Oct. 31 and Nov. 13, 2009
Long a part of the CFV tradition of thoughtful engagement, join
us for an afternoon of discussion on relevant topics. This is
student focused and moderated by a faculty member.
