Programming

Exploratory Studies hosts a number of programs for you to learn more about your academic options at Butler and possible careers. Exploratory Studies regularly partners with other departments on campus to ensure that you are connected with all of the resources the university has to offer. Programs such as the annual Majors Fair and the monthly Careers for... series offer you a chance to learn more about a variety of academic and career options as well as meet faculty, and Butler graduates, and professionals from the Indianapolis community in specific professions. Workshops on "How to Choose a Major/Career" and "What Should I Do with My Life" provide you the chance to learn skills for working through the exploration process. Our Exploratory Residential Unit will provide an opportunity for Exploratory Majors to live in a unit together and provide a common community in which to support one another in the academic exploration process. Due to space limitations this unit is currently only available to women; however programming will be open to all Exploratory majors.
