Scott uses his broad functional and international experiences to
help top executives approach performance issues from a holistic
point of view. He has more than 35 years of industry
experience in R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, strategic
planning, and quality performance/organizational
development. Scott lived in Asia for several years working as
a coach to top executives in 14 countries, and brings a high degree
of cultural sensitivity to international projects. He is a
highly skilled facilitator for strategy development, work process
reengineering/TQM, organizational restructuring (including
M&A), and change management initiatives.
At Butler, he serves as an Executive Partner in the College of
Business as well as an Adjunct Professor. He teaches strategic
planning, operations management, international business, teamwork
development and change management classes for the MBA program.
Scott's academic credentials include B.S. and M.S. degrees
in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University and the
University of Wisconsin, respectively. He worked at Dow
Chemical and Dow AgroSciences for 32 years where he held senior
leadership positions in several functions and led many
organizational strategy and change initiatives.
