Greek Life

Butler University has an extremely active and diverse Greek system, with 15 national fraternities and sororities. Two sororities, Alpha Kappa Alpha and Sigma Gamma Rho, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity are traditionally African-American Greek organizations. Opportunities for membership in inter-campus chapters of other traditionally African-American Greek organizations are available to Butler students.

Black Student Union Activities

The Black Student Union and the Office of Multicultural Affairs cosponsor an exciting array of activities both on and off the Butler campus. Cosmic Bowling, shopping trips, restaurant visits, skating parties, cultural experiences, ethnic dinners, barbecues, and the annual Circle City Classic football game are only a few activities that provide Butler students with a taste of Indianapolis hospitality.
