Endowed Scholarship for Advocates for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender (GLBT) Students

Scholarship Information

This scholarship has been established in order to enhance student learning and experiences by providing financial assistance to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender students as well as students that have distinguished themselves as effective advocates for GLBT students. The scholarship was established in the Spring of 2008 through a generous donation by Louis Tharp and James Bumgardner.

The Office of Student Affairs, working closely with the student group Alliance, is seeking to identify qualified candidates for selection as the 2009-2010 recipient of this scholarship.
