Black History Month Celebration
Butler University and the Office of Diversity Programs join the
rest of the country in celebrating the achievements and
contributions of African-Americans throughout history each year
during the month of February.
The month features opportunities to explore African heritage
through song, films, and artifacts. Past years have seen concerts
by Cynthia Lane and Voices of Deliverance,
documentaries about African history and films showcasing important
and influential actors, and hands-on learning with African drums
and jewelry.
