Internship Staff

Natalie Cumberlander, Ph.D., HSPP

Natalie works from an integrative framework with an emphasis on interpersonal and CBT approaches to treatment.  Her clinical interest areas include the use of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in the treatment of eating disorders, as well as the impact of culture and ethnicity in eating disorders treatment.  She enjoys and is very interested in supervision of students and new professionals.  Outside the office, Natalie enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Rebecca Lancaster, Ph.D., HSPP

Rebecca utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy to treat adults, adolescents, and children in individual, family, and group therapy.  She considers the client's biopsychosocial history to meet the client where he/she is and to help work towards his/her own recovery goals.  Outside of work she focuses her time and energy on her family including her two young children.

Ann Lovko, Ph.D., HSPP

Ann focuses mostly on child and adolescent psychology, working primarily with families and doing some individual therapy as well. Her theoretical approach is eclectic, combining family therapy and cognitive and behavioral approaches with problem-solving and solution focused approaches. She enjoys supervision and consultation. Ann's attention outside of psychology is centered on her family, running, martial arts and music.

Keith Magnus, Ph.D., HSPP

Keith works from a psychodynamic perspective, integrating self psychology, object relations, attachment, and systems theories in his approach to treatment. He is interested in mentoring, supervision, and professional development. His clinical areas of interest include couples therapy and trauma recovery.  Outside of the office, he enjoys engaging in just about any sport (especially volleyball) when he is not spending time with his partner and three children.

Shana Markle, Ph.D., HSPP

Shana received a Bachelor's degree in psychology and a Master's degree in community mental health counseling from Ball State University.  She later returned to Ball State University where she earned her doctoral degree in counseling psychology.  Shana completed her APA-accredited internship at Butler University/BehaviorCorp (now Aspire Indiana) Consortium.  Prior to her employment at Counseling and Consultation Services, Shana was a staff psychologist at Ball State University for two years, and she has significant experience working in the community mental health setting.   Shana enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her family.  She enjoys working with all college students but is especially interested in grief work, relationship concerns, family-of-origin problems, depression, and suicide prevention.         

Karin Tonkin, Ph.D., HSPP

Karin works from an integrative framework with an emphasis on interpersonal, feminist, and CBT approaches to treatment.  Her clinical interest areas are Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), athletes, and spirituality.  She enjoys and is very interested in teaching graduate and undergraduate students in the areas of eating disorders and other mental health issues.  Outside of the office, Karin enjoys spending time with her 2 children and husband.

Mindy Wallpe, Ph.D., HSPP

Mindy works from an interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral treatment approach within a feminist framework. Her clinical interest areas include disordered eating and body image issues, trauma recovery, and college student adjustment. Outside of the office, Mindy enjoys being active and spending time with family and friends.
