Ways to Give
Corporate Giving
By serving as the corporate world's point-of-contact with the
University, the corporate relations program acts as a gateway to
Butler University for business and industry. While providing
corporations with access to Butler's greatest resources - our
students, faculty, departments and programs - we can coordinate
your company's interest in faculty support, student scholarships,
naming opportunities for campus buildings, recruiting, executive
programs and continuing education opportunities.
The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations encourages
corporate representatives to visit Butler University's campus while
we investigate avenues of collaboration together. During your
visit, we would be happy to arrange meetings for you with
appropriate members of the faculty, staff, administration and
student body who may be helpful in reaching your objectives.
Whatever your goals, we will organize a program to meet your needs
and interests.
Foundation Giving
The foundation relations program aims to increase the amount of
private foundation grants made to Butler University academic
programs, outreach and special projects. We work closely with the
University's deans, development researchers, Office of Sponsored
Programs, faculty and development directors to provide various
foundation-related services to the University. These activities
range from identifying foundation funding opportunities to
assisting with project and proposal development, conducting
foundation site visits, facilitating the submission of grant
proposals, and acting as stewards of grants we have received.
We seek to provide a service that is both strategic and
coordinated. We assist in taking great ideas and making them into
fundable projects in partnership with foundations whose funding
initiatives align with the University's strengths.
