Browsing VEMS
The Browse menu allows you to see a calendar of events, a list
of different facilities, and grid of available rooms and times.

To browse events
Under Browse, click Browse Events. The Browse Events page opens.
The active tab is the Monthly Calendar tab.
You can choose how specific you want the event calendar view to
be by clicking on the Daily List tab, Weekly List tab, Monthly List
tab, Weekly Calendar tab, and Monthly Calendar tab. You can scroll
between different time periods by using the right and left green
arrow buttons.
You can filter through the spaces by clicking on the Filter
text. A pop-up will appear that will allow you to specify an event
using the date, facility, room, event type, event name, and group
name, and room features. Fill in your specific information and hit
the Apply button to find your results.
If you click on a specific event, a pop-up will appear that
tells you more information about the event, including the event
name, event type, date, time, location, group name, first contact,
and recurrence.
To browse facilities
Under Browse, click Browse Facilities. The Browse Facilities
page opens. The active tab is the By Room tab.
Through this list, the rooms will be organized alphabetically.
It will list the setup type of the room, as well as the rooms'
capacities. If you want to organize this list by room setup in
order to find rooms with your desired setup, you can click on the
By Setup Type tab to organize rooms by setup type.
If you click on a specific room, a pop-up will appear. This will
list the room number and building location, as well as any notes
about the location. Additionally, select rooms will have pictures
of the space within the pop-up. By clicking on the picture or the
picture's link below it, you will be able to see an enlarged
image.
To browse space
Under Browse, click Browse Space. The Browse Space page opens.
The active tab is the Browse tab.
This allows you to view the availability of spaces without
booking an event. Any blue horizontal bar on the grid represents an
event that has already been scheduled for the room and time it
fills. If you need to see a different date, you can use the right
and left green arrow icons to scroll to the event time and date you
need.
You can filter through the spaces by clicking on the Filter
text. A pop-up will appear that will allow you to specify a space
using the date, facility, room type, and room features. Fill in
your specific information and hit the Apply button to find your
results.
By hovering over an event that is already booked, a pop-up will
appear that tells you more information about the event, including
the event name, event type, date, time, location, group name, and
first contact.
