Student Of The Month - October 2006

Tim DeBow

Tim DeBow is our student of the month. Congrats Tim! Tim finally declared his CS major this semester, even though he's been taking CS courses for years. Tim has been active in the EPICS program, and he is active in our ACM Student Chapter. Tim also works for Information Resources, including helping to maintain our department computer labs. He also invited me to join Facebook.

Tim is also dangerous. He brings nerf guns and rubber-band guns to class, and always has that smug grin on his face, like he just did something he shouldn't.

Tim is a bright student who can do almost anything he sets his mind to.

Keep up the good work!

Congratulations Tim on your election as SOM. You have matured a lot since I first got to know you. Are doing well and contributing in the operating systems course this semester, and clearly are a credit to Butler through all your efforts working with IR to keep our computer systems functioning.
- Pete Henderson

Congratulations Tim on your SOM selection. Well deserved! I have enjoyed having you in my classes and in EPICS. Also, you have been a great help with CS142 and our computer lab support. All the very best with your future endeavors.
