Student Of The Month - March 2009

Joe Lawry

SOM JLawry1

Congrats, Joe, on your election as Student of the Month!

Joe Lawry has been very active in the department for some time now, and it's always a pleasure to see his smiling face. As the current president of our ACM student chapter, he has pursued several new activities. He also participated in our EPICS program, competed in programming contests, works with the Student Government Association, and is a solid student. We look forward to more of the same from him. You may not know he also won an award last year as part of the mock trial team, certainly unusual for computer science students. We all look forward to seeing how his unique skill set helps him define his career. Keep up the good work!
