Student Of The Month - December 2002

Ann Heile

Ann is a very bright student who always puts in her best effort. She is reliable and dependable. Ann has been heavily involved in the EPICS program, she is an officer of the ACM student chapter, and she participated in two programming contests this year and did very well. To top it off, Ann is a nice person too, and I hear she's a great dancer! Congrats, Ann!

Ann has impressed me with her performance in my Software Engineering courses and her ability to work effectively in a team. She has quickly grasped the importance and potential of Software Engineering principles and tools. She has shown a lot of improvement towards developing a good balance between her technical and soft skills. I am also very pleased to see her undertaking a leadership role in our EPICS service learning program this semester. Keep the good work up, Ann!

Great picture Ann!! Congratulations on being selected SOM, a well deserved honor. I don't think you have the record for the Butler student who took the most courses with me, but I am sure you are close. It is always a pleasure to have you in my class (because you always made my grading so easy - give Ann an A+). Good luck and happy holidays.
