Internships and Collaborations

Students in the Communication Disorders major have the opportunity to partner with many organizations, institutions, and facilities that engage in research and provide speech, language, and hearing services.  In these experiences, students apply classroom knowledge and gain insight into working with others and become familiar with the diversity of the profession. In recent years, students have had experiences with:

  • Infant Language Lab at Riley Hospital/ IU School of Medicine
  • Speech Pathology Services, PC.
  • Riley Child Development Center
  • Indiana School for the Deaf
  • New Hope
  • Developmental preschool for Spanish-speaking children
  • Methodist Hospital
  • Developmental Educational Preschool
  • St. Vincent's Hospital
  • First Steps of Indiana
