Bookstore

The Butler bookstore, located on the second level of Atherton Union, stocks Butler mementos, trade books, reference materials, clothing, stationary supplies, gifts, greeting cards, and academic supplies. The textbook department on the lower level of Atherton Union carries all textbooks and music needed for classes. You enter to the textbook department through the regular bookstore.

Certification

The Masters in Effective Teaching and Leadership is designed to help practicing teachers enhance and revitalize their skills in the classroom and in leadership positions. The courses may be used to renew, add to, or professionalize their teaching licenses.

Identification Cards

Every registered Butler student must carry a Butler I.D. card, which are issued Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Butler University Police Department's vehicle registration and I.D. services office, Atherton Union, Romm 100. I.D. cards have a number of purposes: to check out library books, to card access privilege, to obtain student discounts, identification, to receive food services, etc. There is a replacement fee for lost or damaged cards. Stolen cards will be replaced at no charge provided the student files a police report.

Parking

All registered students at Butler must have their vehicle registered with the Butler University Police Department (BUPD). Students are expected to observe traffic and parking regulations on campus. The regulations are published in the Parking Allocation Map which are available at BUPD's Atherton and Jordan offices. Students are permitted to park only in the appropriate designated student parking areas. Students are not allowed to park on neighborhood streets.

You need to register for classes online through my.butler.edu. Before doing so, consult with your advisor on the classes you will be taking and how they connect to your individualized learning goals.
