Master of Science in Education: Educational Administration
The Experiential Program for Preparing School Principals (EPPSP)
is a Masters of Science Education degree program. This program
combines hands-on opportunities with academic rigor. The major
thrust of EPPSP is to incorporate the traditional technical skills
of principal preparation program with the personal leadership
skills crucial to the successful principal of the future. EPPSP
will consistently address the skills, processes, and techniques
essential to achieve effective administrative problem solving. In
conjunction with this emphasis on problem solving, students will be
exposed to: decision-making strategies, organizational theory and
techniques, teaching and learning strategies, conflict resolution,
vision of learning, written and oral communication skills, future
forecasting, self-directedness, and personal and professional
development.
Dr. Bobby Fong - President, Butler University, discusses the
EPPSP program.
Mr. John B. Dunn - former Chair of the Board of Trustees shares
his thoughts on the program.
