Master of Science in Education: Educational Administration

The Experiential Program for Preparing School Principals (EPPSP) is a Masters of Science Education degree program. This program combines hands-on opportunities with academic rigor. The major thrust of EPPSP is to incorporate the traditional technical skills of principal preparation program with the personal leadership skills crucial to the successful principal of the future. EPPSP will consistently address the skills, processes, and techniques essential to achieve effective administrative problem solving. In conjunction with this emphasis on problem solving, students will be exposed to: decision-making strategies, organizational theory and techniques, teaching and learning strategies, conflict resolution, vision of learning, written and oral communication skills, future forecasting, self-directedness, and personal and professional development.
