Faculty Resources

The Center for Citizenship and Community (CCC) provides support for faculty and staff who wish to get involved in service learning, civic engagement and community outreach efforts. Services provided by the center include:

  • Faculty development related to service learning and civic engagement.
  • Help with the design and/or implementation of a Service Learning course.
  • Partnership and site development related to service learning and civic engagement.
  • Consultation with faculty, departments, and programs related to service learning and civic engagement.
  • Support Service Learning Course Fund grants or assistance in securing external grants to support service learning and community outreach efforts.
  • Consultation for developing research courses and projects involving the collection, analysis and employment of data for the benefit of community organizations. Reports from previous projects utilizing applied data are available at the Community Research Laboratory (CRL).
  • Coordination and administrative oversight of Service Learning.
  • Consultation to help you find funders and help you write grant proposals to support your community outreach efforts. For example see the Indiana Campus Compact Web site.
