Service-learning IS academic learning linked to
relevant community service.
Service-learning involves practical, outside-the-Butler-bubble experiences,
followed by honest and in-depth reflection and self-evaluation. Consider the
community engagement as an exchange program, where you and
those you're working with both have valuable insights to offer.
Students in ICR and SL courses often find that they receive as much as
they give.
