Career Exploration
Career exploration is a process and requires much effort on your
part. Internship and Career Services (ICS) can help you get started
on the road to planning your career. We recommend
that students meet regularly with their academic advisor
and periodically with a counselor in our office to help with career
planning. The following resources are available to all Butler
University students and alumni.
Self Assessments Resources
ICS offers both the Strong Interest Inventory and the Myers
Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). These assessments help individuals
learn more about themselves and can be helpful in choosing or
changing a major or career path.
Please contact ICS at career@butler.edu or (317)
940-9383 or stop by Atherton Union 315 to make an appointment with
a career advisor. Your advisor will determine whether one or more
of the career assessments are right for you.
