Career Services Advisory Board

The Career Services Advisory Board meets approximately four times each year and serves to consult with and inform representatives of Butler's faculty and staff on such topics as internship preparation, leadership development, implementation of an electronic portfolio, services offered by Internship and Career Services, job fairs and other campus events for employers or students. Employers provide guidance on the skill sets and employability factors students must possess to be successful in the workplace enabling the University to develop a better sense of the discipline-based and soft-skills that students must acquire prior to graduation. The board also offers advice to Butler University's president, provost, and faculty on programmatic enhancements in both curricular and co-curricular domains, as appropriate.
