Student Employee of the Year Awards
Every spring, the National Student Employment Association (NSEA)
honors all students who work on campus by holding the annual
Student Employee of the Year Awards. The Student Employment
Coordinator will also hold a special luncheon for all nominees and
supervisors during Student Employment Appreciation Week in April.
Be sure to nominate your student workers for this great honor!
Nominate your student employee for the 2014 Student Employee of
the Year Awards!
There will be three awards presented
to nominees this year:
- Student Employee of the Year: This
student will be judged on their reliability, quality of work,
initiative, professionalism, and their uniqueness of contribution.
The recipient will compete in the regional competition,
and may compete nationally.
- Outstanding New Student Employee of the Year:
This award will be given to a student working in a position for
less than one year who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment
to their position, department, and educational goals.
- The Student Employee Leadership Award: This
award will be given to the student who has demonstrated a keen
sense of leadership in their position. Leadership may include
supervising others or exhibiting great communication, decision
making, and problem solving skills.

Due Friday, February 14th at 12:00 pm to Courtney
Rousseau in Atherton Union 315.
The awards luncheon will be held on Tuesday, April 15th at noon
at the Schrott Center.
