Internship & Career Prep Program
The Internship & Career Prep Program is designed to help
students identify, apply for, and secure internship and career
opportunities by offering a variety of valuable sessions including
resume critiques, mock interviews, hot topic discussions and more.
Attendance at each event automatically enters students in a drawing
to win a $300 or $200 professional wardrobe shopping spree or other

give the students insight into a person's interests, so that
they may have less difficulty in deciding on an appropriate career
choice for themselves.
The Strong Interest Inventory is a valuable tool that will
enable you to:
- Achieve satisfaction in your professional and/or academic
work
- Identify majors or career options consistent with your
interests
- Choose post-baccalaureate education and training that align
with your interests
- Direct your own career exploration regardless of where you are
academically, personally, or professionally

Transition from School to a Career

Receive valuable tips and suggestions on ways to get
involved within an organization, how to manage money, how to
interact with new colleagues in a position. Experienced recruiters
will share their experience and guidance on how to best approach
the situation.

This series allows students to explore a variety of
different occupational areas. Past topics have included - careers
for sports-minded individuals, careers for legal minds, and careers
in culture and language. Experienced professionals are brought in
to serve on a panel and provide students with first-hand
information on their field. The panelists also provide the
opportunity for students to ask any questions they may have about
the field.
