Networking Events

Networking Night

Networking Night is held in the spring semester and is designed to help students learn and apply their networking skills and to create valuable networking connections in a relaxed environment. The event consists of a networking know-how session, employer and student discussions, and open networking time.

Spring 2014

When: February 18, 2014, 5:30-7:00pm
Where: Clowes Memorial Hall, Butler University
Cost: Employers- $50 for-profit organizations, $25 non-profit/government/start-up/gap year, includes 2 representatives, Students are FREE

Student Registration:

  • Login to BLUE
  • Under Calendar tab, select Event Search
  • Search by Event Type - Choose Networking Event, click Search
  • Click Networking Night Spring 2014
  • Click Signup button on right

**Structured know-how session from 5:30-6:00 is limited to the first 140 students, but open networking from 6:00-7:00 is open to EVERYONE, with or without pre-registering.**

Diversity Connections

Diversity Connections is a unique networking event that allows students from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to network with business and community leaders in the hopes of developing relationships leading to internships, full-time positions or mentorship. The session includes various structured networking activities aimed at allowing students and employers to meet and interact with several guests throughout the evening in a relaxed environment.  This event is held each Spring Semester.

When: Wednesday, March 26, 2014, 5:00-7:30pm
Where: Efroymson Diversity Center, Butler University

Cost: Free for employers
