Butler Goes Green

ECO Dawgs

In 2007, Butler University faculty, staff and students came together to form ECO Dawgs, a committee dedicated to promoting the campus community's wise use of our planet's resources. ECO Dawg members strive to serve as positive role models on campus and in the surrounding communities regarding stewardship of and responsibility for the environment. ECO Dawgs has worked to place recycling stations around campus, obtain cardboard compactors, assist our student ECO group, promote conservation of resources and much more.

If you are interested in joining the dialogue and action of ECO Dawgs, contact Dick Hamm (chamm@butler.edu) for more information. The group meets the last Thursday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. Brown bags are welcome.
