Everywhere you look on the Butler
University campus, there's something "green" going on. A new
classroom and lab addition to the College of Pharmacy and Health
Sciences building was built following national Leadership in Energy
and Environmental Design (LEED) criteria. Ditto for renovations
that brought an abandoned 80-year-old fraternity house back to
life.
From the "single stream" recycling programs to police riding
fuel-efficient Segways, the University is making every effort to be
environmentally friendly. You can help by reviewing our campus
sustainability information and contributing where you can.
For a complete list of where to recycle just about anything in
Indianapolis, Butler Goes Green directs you to the Keep Indianapolis Beautiful
website. The pull down menu will help you locate where to
recycle more than 50 common household items and materials from
aerosol cans to vinyl siding.
