Bloom .Elliot FINAL Elliot Bloom is a student analyst with the Butler Business Accelerator. He is pursuing his bachelor's degree in Accounting from Butler University with a planned graduation date of May 2012. Elliot has been involved in the Real Business Experience program at Butler and has completed a six-month co-op with Johnson & Johnson in International Treasury Services at Corporate Headquarters. He is a member of the Butler University Investment Group, where he has served as the Treasurer. Elliot also played two years on the Butler Men's Golf team and works part time at two local Indianapolis golf courses.

Right Arrow Show Profile: Deirdre Dellaportas ~ Fall 2011 CFO Services Student Analyst

Dellaportas Deirdre Dellaportas is a student analyst with the Butler Business Accelerator. She is pursuing a B.S. degree in Finance and will graduate in May 2012. She participated in "Leadership London" with Dean Williams in summer 2010. She has various business experience including an internship in the real estate investment banking industry at the #1 firm in the country, Eastdil Secured. In addition, Deirdre has worked at a local company called The Art Press as a freelance t-shirt designer throughout her years at Butler. Deirdre is the social chair of Kappa Kappa Gamma and is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, and the Butler Women's Lacrosse team. She also had an executive position for Butler University Dance Marathon in 2009.

Right Arrow Show Profile: Stephen Feider ~ Fall 2011 CFO Services Student Analyst

Feider Stephen Feider is a CFO Services Student Analyst for the Butler Business Accelerator. Stephen is an Accounting major and Management Information Systems minor, and plans to graduate with a Master's in Public Accounting in May of 2012. At the Butler Business Accelerator, Stephen uses his accounting, IT, and communication skills to assist clients with accounting and finance process improvements. Stephen worked as a tax intern for ShopKo Stores headquartered in Green Bay, WI. Stephen serves as the President of the Accounting Club at Butler. As a member of his social Fraternity, Stephen has held the positions of Treasurer and Academic Chair, and Social Chair. In his free time, Stephen enjoys doing service , meeting new people, and trying new food.

Right Arrow Show Profile: Mike Hernandez ~ Fall 2011 CFO Services Student Analyst

Hernandez Mike Hernandez is a CFO Services Student Analyst for the Butler Business Accelerator.  Mike is a Finance major and plans on graduating in May of 2012.  Mike is currently in Butler's Applied Portfolio Management course which manages a $1 million portfolio in S&P 500 stocks, a Corporate Finance tutor for the  College of Business, and has been through the Real Business Experience course.  He is also a pitcher on the Butler University Baseball Team.  The BBA is Mike's first internship.

Jones Lauren Jones is a student analyst with the Butler Business Accelerator. She is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Butler University with a planned graduation date of May 2012. She has been involved in the Real Business Experience program at Butler, and she has completed a six-month co-op with Johnson & Johnson in International Treasury Services at Corporate Headquarters. She is a member of the Alpha Chi chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at Butler, where she has served twice as the Vice President of Finance.

Right Arrow Show Profile: Jeff Larsen ~ Fall 2011 CFO Services and Marketing Student Analyst

Larsen Jeff Larsen is a Finance and Marketing Student Analyst for the Butler Business Accelerator. He will graduate from Butler University in December of 2011 with a degree in Finance. Prior to working at the BBA, he completed three internships in the financial services industry with companies such as Merrill Lynch, Archway Technology Partners, and Column Capital Wealth Management. Jeff is a member and team captain of the Butler University Football Team. He is also a member of Phi Eta Sigma Honors Fraternity.

Right Arrow Show Profile: Mark Minner ~ Fall 2011 Marketing Student Analyst

Minner Mark Minner is a marketing student analyst for the Butler Business Accelerator pursuing a bachelor's degree in both marketing and electronic journalism. He will graduate in May 2012. His internship experience includes Motorola Solutions, Kane County Cougars Minor League Baseball and ESPN Radio 1070. Mark was a marketing intern at Motorola Solutions where he worked closely with the sports management, event management, and market research aspects of the company. At Butler, Mark has been heavily involved in sports broadcasting. He is the studio host for Men's Basketball radio broadcasts on ESPN 1070. Mark also does play-by-play for video broadcasts of Women's Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer and Men's Soccer on HorizonLeague.com, as well as select NCAA Championships for Turner Sports. He is a re-founding father, and has been active in his social fraternity, Phi Delta Theta, where he has held a wide-array of positions:President, new member educator, public relations chair, fundraising chair, and recruitment captain.

Right Arrow Show Profile: Kate Panawash ~ Fall 2011 Marketing Student Analyst

Panawash Kate Panawash is a Marketing Student Analyst for the Butler Business Accelerator. She will graduate from Butler University in May of 2012 with degrees in Marketing and Finance and a minor in Communication Studies. Prior to interning at the BBA, Kate interned with the National Federation of State High School Associations marketing the Coach Education program for high school athletics. At Butler, Kate is a member of the Butler Women's Tennis Team. She is actively involved in a social fraternity, Delta Gamma and has held the house manager and director of finance positions. Kate is also the Gavel Chair for Butler's Mortar Board Chapter.

Right Arrow Show Profile: Alexandra Suryanarayanan ~ Fall 2011 Marketing Student Analyst

Sur Alexandra Suryanarayanan is a Marketing Student Analyst for the Butler Business Accelerator. She will graduate from Butler University in December of 2012 with degrees in Marketing and Management Information Systems. Alexandra has been involved in the Butler Real Business experience and Dance Marathon. In Spring 2011, she studied business in The Netherlands and was able to travel throughout Europe.

Right Arrow Show Profile: Ginger Lippert ~ Marketing MBA Project Manager

Glippert Alumna Ginger Lippert '04 comes to Butler University with more than five years of marketing and sales experience. Lippert began her professional career at TF Publishing as the licensing manager. In this role, she coordinated all licensing efforts for the company including all content approvals, licensing agreements, and royalty reporting.  She also marketed the company to prospective licensors and developed new partnerships with a variety of high profile licensors. 

Most recently Lippert served as the vice president of sales for the company and managed the entire sales team while continuing to serve as the sales representative for key national accounts.  She personally acquired/managed approximately 35% of the company's gross sales. While in this position she also implemented a partnership with Salesforce.com as the new CRM system for company.

Ginger is currently working towards completing her MBA from Butler while working full time for the Accelerator.

Right Arrow Show Profile: Del Rogers ~ CFO Services MBA Project Manager

rogers_del Del Rogers, a finance, accounting and HR professional with eighteen years of experience, joined CFO Services to help provide clients technical solutions in managing their daily financial and accounting operations. Throughout his career, Del has worked in senior level positions such as director of finance, controller and CFO at several companies related to healthcare, manufacturing, higher education and government.

His technical skills include implementing annual budgeting and forecasting processes, creating excel modeling tools, installing new systems to capture job costing data and assisting business owners and management with the analytical support necessary for organizational growth and cost control.

His in-depth experience with public sector organizations and several Fortune 200 enterprises has provided opportunities to lead ERP implementations and standardization of accounting processes and financial reporting. Rogers received his B.S. in Finance from Ball State University and is currently pursuing his MBA from Butler University.
