CFO Services MBA Project Manager
Position Description:
SPM (Student Project Manager) will report directly to the
Project Manager of CFO Services for the Butler Business
Accelerator. This position is normally reserved for students
within Butler MBA program, but may from time to time, be offered to
undergraduates as a growth path for continued involvement past the
Student Analyst level for talented candidates who spend multiple
semesters with the Accelerator. This person will also have
demonstrated broad business process understanding, strong ethical
behavior, and concern for the ethical and successful outcomes of
each project. Responsibilities will include oversight of
projects, management of students and business clients under the
auspices of a full-time Accelerator project manager.
Qualifications/skills Needed:
- Minimum of 1 semester of hands-on managerial or financial
accounting experience. Skills in Information Technology or
ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) systems also highly valued.
- Butler MBA or MPAC students are preferred for this role; in
some cases, older undergraduate students with prior experience
on Accelerator consulting teams may be considered.

- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and its more
sophisticated functionality
- Working knowledge of other Microsoft office solutions
including: Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project and general knowledge
of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and business
processes

Marketing MBA Project Manager
Position Description:
SPM (Student Project Manager) will report directly to the
Project Manager that handles marketing related client engagements
for the Butler Business Accelerator. This position is
reserved for students within the Butler MBA program. The
ideal candidate will have demonstrated broad business process
understanding, strong ethical behavior and concern for the ethical
and successful outcomes of each project. Responsibilities
will include independent oversight of consulting projects,
management of other students (undergraduates), and development of
client relationships under the auspices of a
full-time Accelerator project manager. This position will also
be involved in supporting the Accelerator Marketing
Communications team with the strategy and execution of
Accelerator-related marketing activities. This position is an
annual position, renewable at the end of each year for the duration
of the graduate student's participation in the MBA program.
Qualifications/skills Needed:
- Minimum of three years hands-on marketing strategy and
implementation oversight experience
- Experience in making strategic marketing decisions related to
product positioning, pricing methodology, channel placement, and
promotional tactics
- Experience in developing and maintaining a company's brand
- Understanding of how to obtain, analyze, and make
recommendations based upon primary and secondary market research -
both quantitative and qualitative
- Growing analytical skills - experience in advanced Excel
functions
- Working knowledge of other Microsoft office solutions
including: Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project and general knowledge
of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and business
processes
