Bulldogs to the Rescue
Official Butler University mascot, Butler Blue II and Trip,
aren't just lending their celebrity to serve as Grand Marshal of
the inaugural Bulldog Jog Dog Walk, but they are also on a mission
to help those dogs less fortunate.
Blue and Trip are asking that all Bulldog Jog participants to
join them in bringing various goods to benefit the Indiana Bulldog Rescue and Humane Society of
Indianapolis and the pooches they serve. In exchange generosity, Blue II and Trip
are offering up a personalized autographed picture.
Bring in the Goods
For an idea of just some of the things Blue II will be
collecting for fellow canines, see below:
- New or gently used small blankets or throws
- Crates
- Harnesses
- Leashes
- Dog beds (new or gently used in clean and in good
condition)
- Toys and chews
- Shampoo
- Dog food and treats (preferably grain free)
Both the Indiana Bulldog Rescue and Humane Society of
Indianapolis have detailed lists of needed items. Please check
their lists to see what you can contribute to their causes. You
just might have a few things lying around the house!
Donate and be Rewarded
In exchange for in-kind donations made to the Indiana Bulldog
Rescue and Humane Society of Indianapolis, Blue II and Trip will be
offering up personalized autographs.
Located outside the HRC and near the registration tables, Blue
and Trip will be camped out next to donation boxes and awaiting
your gifts prior to the start of the Dog Walk. Stop by, say hello
and trade your old dog gear for a signed picture of Blue II and
Trip!
