NatureServe - information about rare and endangered species and threatened ecosystems.
An Ecology WWW Page maintained at the University of Lyon, France, links you to many sites of interest to ecologists.
The Yahoo Environment and Nature listing is a useful gateway.
The World Wide Web Virtual Library has an index of sites for Biodiversity, Ecology and the Environment. This index is now hosted by the Center for Conservation Biology Network, also a useful site.

Flybase provides extensive information on Drosophila genetics and molecular biology.
Mendelweb has the actual text of Mendel's papers in both English and German!
