Volunteer for the Family Dinner Program
If you live in the Indianapolis area, your family could
volunteer to invite an international student to dinner at your home
twice each semester (four times during the academic year). We are
always looking for new families to host students who arrive each
August and January. Butler has over 150 international students from
over 60 different countries, and they come to the U.S. not just to
study, but to learn as much as they can about us. Nationally, only
about 20% of international students enter an American home during
their stay in this country. By opening your home to a student, you
will be contributing to international understanding, and you will
have a lot of fun.
