A Special Invitation from the Central Indiana Alumni Chapter

The Central Indiana Alumni Chapter is pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity to participate in the College of
Communication's (CCOM) inaugural Conference on Ethics & Public Argumentation (CEPA) on April 1-4, 2014.  All conference sessions are open to Indianapolis area alumni, family and friends and will feature local community leaders, visiting scholars, filmmakers, journalists and our own Butler students addressing this year's theme "Engaging the Community." Mark your calendars for a special alumni evening that you won't want to miss on Thursday, April 3, 2014 in the Atherton Union Reilly Room.  The evening will begin with an alumni reception from 5:00-6:30 p.m. where guests can meet with classmates, CCOM faculty and students, and Board of Visitors members. Complimentary hors d'oeuvre buffet, beverages and cash bar. Following the reception, guests are invited to the CEPA keynote address at 7 p.m.  "Nelson Mandela's Legacy as an Ethical Communicator" will be presented by the Reverend Dr. Allan Aubrey Boesak of the Desmond Tutu Chair for Peace, Global Justice and Reconciliation. Events are complimentary, but attendance at the reception requires advanced registration by March 25 to Annette Lee at 317-940-9625.  To learn more about CEPA, visit their website.
