Bay Area Community

The Bay Area has developed many of the innovations that are driving the new economy, and Butler graduates are playing their part.

Butler alumni are creative participants of the technological advancements that are our transforming our world. From wine country to Silicon Valley, Butler alumni are active members of this vibrant, diverse area. As an alumni community, we’ve volunteered at soup kitchens and food pantries, and we have plans to help with habitat restoration in the Golden Gate National Parks. We get out there and enjoy the sun, water, and big trees that bless this area. We have done hikes on coastal trails and enjoyed oyster and crab feasts. We enjoy wine tastings and winery tours. We’ve gathered to cheer on local basketball and baseball teams. And we’ll never hesitate to the sing the Butler War Song, whether at viewing parties or when the Bulldogs make West Coast trips (as they did to Stanford). We are even making plans for our little Bulldogs, so that Butler alumni with young children can stay in touch. We’re your avenue to stay connected, network, and explore the area. Go Dawgs!
