Brad Plunkett '92

Brad graduated from Butler in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in
pharmacy. While at Butler, Brad was active in residence hall life,
Phi Delta Chi pharmacy fraternity and choral programs, performing
with the University Chorale under Dr. Michael Shasberger.
Since graduation, Brad has been employed as a pharmacist. In
1998 Brad was certified as an HIV pharmacist through the University
of Missouri in Kansas City. He now holds the position of key
marketing specialist with Statscript Pharmacy, specializing in
treating people with HIV or AIDS. Statscript works closely with
private and government social service agencies, referring clients
when appropriate for financial, emotional or medical assistance.
The pharmacy also provides counseling and nutritional guidance as
well.
Brad is a director-at-large for the Association of Nurses in
AIDS Care. He has served on the advisory board for the Midwest AIDS
Training & Education Center and the Indiana State Department of
Health HIV/AIDS Advisory Board. He also has participated with the
planning of the annual Garage Party fundraiser and the Indiana AIDS
Walk and Festival.
As an alumnus, Brad has acted as a co-instructor and intern
preceptor for the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
