Open House Visit

During this visit you're encouraged to come and go as you please. Sessions will be offered on the hour so you can design your own visit. Explore Butler Admission, Financial Aid and talk to professors about our majors. Student-led campus tours will also be available. Register for your Open House Visit today!

Explore Butler

Our most popular type of visit! Explore Butler offers small group information sessions followed by student-led tours.  The visit lasts about 2 hours. Explore Butler is available weekdays at 10am and 2pm throughout the year. Selected Saturday morning visits are available in the fall. Because of the particular volume, we offer special options for students interested in Pre-Pharmacy. The Pharmacy presentation is at 11:00am, Monday through Thursday. We recommend you register at least two weeks prior to your visit. All visiting high school students should schedule their visits individually.

Butler Business Days

If you think you might be interested in studying business, then check out Butler Business Days. Hosted by Butler’s College of Business Administration, you’ll discover the benefits of a Butler business degree by meeting faculty and current students. This all-morning visit also includes a campus tour and time with Admission Counselors. Space for this special event is limited.

Butler 101

Want a closer look at Butler University? Then Butler 101 is it. During this casual visit you'll get a student-led campus tour and an Admission and Financial Aid presentation. Then join us for a 'backyard' cookout with Butler students and staff.

True Blue

True Blue is a weekday visit program that gives admitted students the chance to experience a day in the life of a Butler student. Admitted students “shadow” a current student with similar academic interests. The day includes opportunities to attend classes, meet professors, eat lunch on campus and participate in other activities typical of Butler students. Space for this event is limited to 8 students per day, so register early. For 2009, True Blue is available every Monday through Thursday from January 26th - April 2nd (excluding March 9th - March 13th).  Please note this day is designed for students and does not include programming for parents.

Individual Campus Visits

Individual Campus Visits will be available to admitted high school seniors starting in the Spring semester of 2009. Students admitted for Fall 2009 may schedule an individual appointment with an admission counselor and tour campus. Students interested in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences may also attend the group presentation at 11:00am on weekdays (based on availability). Online registration will become available at a later date.

Junior Preview Days

Junior Preview Days give you a first look at Butler. The program will include an interactive look at Butler, a special session for parents and a campus tour. Sorry sophomores, this is for juniors only! Space is limited to the first 65 who register.
