If you are a junior or a senior in high school, you are probably busy doing campus visits right now. Campus visits are great for seeing buildings on campus and getting a real feel for student life…but it is also important for prospective students to continue their tour on their own – by exploring the area around campus, and seeing what the city has to offer. So over the course of a few blogs, I will take you through areas on Butler’s campus and off that I think you should visit when you come to Butler for your visit, whether you are making your decision, or just taking a look.
Also….this blog series is actually based off of a class project that I worked on with my friends Kodi, Abby, and Jayne in our Advertising and Promotion Management class (our assignment was to actually come up with a scavenger hunt…so this is a slight variation). I wanted to share it with all of you, because I thought it was something that would come in handy, and that would be a helpful guide in your college visit process. So….mad props go to Kodi, Abby, and Jayne…and Dr. Skinner for giving us this assignment. I hope that it might help you all as you visit Butler, and possibly navigate Indianapolis for the first time. I’ll be focusing on Broad Ripple, downtown Indy, and Butler’s campus for each of the blogs, and as always, feel free to comment if you have any questions at all!

One of my favorite places on Butler's campus....
