About Me:

My name is Steph, and I am a senior Marketing major with a Communication Studies minor. Since this is my last year at Butler, my main goal is to enjoy every moment that I have left, while doing as much as humanly possible. I am a marketing analyst at the Butler Business Accelerator, a Speakers Lab tutor, and a Butler blogger (obviously). I also am an Alpha Phi, the President of the Butler University Student Foundation, a member of Alpha Kappa Psi (a professional business fraternity), and a member of the Butler American Marketing Association. In the small amount of free time that I do have, I love crafting, watching large amounts of television, and enjoying my favorite comfort foods, like sweet tea.

Valentine’s Day – Semi Trucks, Peeps, and all.

Today is Valentine’s Day.  Some people love it…some people hate it.  I tend to go back and forth…but there is one aspect of Valentine’s Day that I always love.  The day after.  Each year I make a trip to CVS to raid their clearance candy, where I usually stock up on Peeps, Snickers, and everything else that I love.  For the first time ever though, I might not make my annual CVS trip tomorrow.  I know, this is crazy talk, why would I not go buy outrageously large amounts of candy for 50-75% off??  Well…because of this…

So, what you see here are my Valentine’s gifts from a few different people.  My roommate, Brooke, got us each the Peeps.  The golden Snitch valentine is from Nicole, one of my sorority sisters, and that leaves the best of them all….my chocolate semi truck.  It is from my parents, and my Dad actually re-gifted it…because it was sent to us as a Christmas present from another farm that we do business with.  Basically, I already have plenty of candy around here…because I’m pretty sure this semi truck is going to last me a week…if not longer.

I didn’t only get candy for Valentine’s Day this year…because my parents were extremely kind.  My Droid had been acting up for about… 6 months…so I traded up and I got an iPhone.  I’m already obsessed to say the least since my phone actually works, and this means that I’ll be able to spice up my blogs a tad bit with Instagram photos.  So thanks, Mom and Dad, for the best Valentine’s present ever!
