About Me:

My name is Steph, and I am a senior Marketing major with a Communication Studies minor. Since this is my last year at Butler, my main goal is to enjoy every moment that I have left, while doing as much as humanly possible. I am a marketing analyst at the Butler Business Accelerator, a Speakers Lab tutor, and a Butler blogger (obviously). I also am an Alpha Phi, the President of the Butler University Student Foundation, a member of Alpha Kappa Psi (a professional business fraternity), and a member of the Butler American Marketing Association. In the small amount of free time that I do have, I love crafting, watching large amounts of television, and enjoying my favorite comfort foods, like sweet tea.

There just isn’t enough time…ever.

There are many times during the school year when I don’t have time to do everything that I need to do.  Usually, this is because I need to drive somewhere, whether it is home or to visit a friend, and there just isn’t enough time to do everything that is necessary.  It’s at times like this when I would love it if Indiana had a train system or a bus system or any sort of public transportation.  Then I could pack my stuff, and just do my homework the entire way home.  So Indiana officials, get on it.  I would greatly appreciate it.

This would have come in handy this last weekend, when I went home for my sister’s bachelorette party, and I had a paper to write for my internship class, and other little things to do.  In the end, there just wasn’t enough time for everything…hence why I didn’t get back to Fort Wayne until 1 a.m. on Sunday night.  It was a long drive back, and there were quite a few times when I felt like stopping to take a nap, because that 4 1/2 hour drive to Fort Wayne gets pretty long and tiring after awhile.  If only I could have just worked the entire way home and back…I would have everything done that I needed, and it would be great!  But since there wasn’t a train, or a person that could have just driven me back to the Fort, I am slowly but surely getting caught up.  Maybe….just maybe…I will have everything done by next week.  I doubt it…but maybe I’ll be lucky???

Even though it is a hassle...I do love the beautiful drive that I have to Indy and back....
