As you have probably noticed in past posts or at my lack of even writing post my life is hectic. It is my own fault that I make it as crazy as it is, but I like the constant craziness. However, without Post It notes I don’t know if I would make anything on time or would turn in any assignments on time.
My planner is something I live by. If you ever see me in class my planner is always out and open. At this point I think it is just a comfort thing to have it. With my planner I not only use the dates provided to write down everything I have to do or turn in, but I also have Post It notes everywhere. To a lot of people my Post It notes seem color coordinated or that there is some meaning behind the colors, but that is not the case.
I use Post It notes for everything, especially just to get me through the week. While my planner does help me keep track of things I always have a Post It note on the end of my week to show what I have for the week. This is for social or academics so that I can keep track. For example this is what I have on my Post It note for next week.
Firebelly blog (M) ISL blog (T)
Morton Finney mtg (S) CMFK bus (Th)
AV sign in (W) SP oral online (F)
IMC tweets (T) ISL Pitch Kit (T)
Wang assignment (W) SP oral in class (W)
This is it so far. Thankfully most of these are class related. Obviously I can keep track of my fun stuff because that’s usually what I look forward to! Wish me luck.
I have not been able to blog a lot, because it seems like all I am doing lately is either finishing projects or studying for finals. It is that time of the year where everything is starting to wrap. Seniors are starting to realize their time is coming to an end. Freshmen can’t believe they’ve made it through one year of college, and here I sit thinking about how half of my undergraduate is almost done.
It is a little depressing when you think about it. Every time I see families touring Butler I get a little jealous, because they are in that stage of excitement when you realize that you are finally going to college. I remember my registration day at Butler and how I couldn’t imagine that I would ever be here, and now that I am here I just want to continuously relive freshmen year. I am pretty sure though that my parents would not enjoy me reliving freshmen year over and over with how much money they would be spending, but Butler was free I would do it over and over again except for the finals part.
While finals do tend to stress people out, they are not that bad. We don’t have classes so it is just completely time to study. It just depends if you spend that time wisely. I am not going to lie I’m a little stressed out because I’m not a big test person, but either way finals must go on, so if you take a final and think man I just failed that just always think “On to the next one”
Right before finals week it seems like everyone starts to give you the most ridiculous work ever. I feel like I have a lot, but then when I say it aloud to myself it doesn’t seem that bad. I just have a lot of busy work to do! I’m going to use you to show myself what I have to do!

To you that may seem like a lot, but to me it doesn’t seem that bad. I really only have 2 exams, the rest are just papers. I love writing papers more than exams, because I know I am definitely a better writer than exam taker. I hate exams. So if I don’t blog in the next couple days I’m not dead I’m just trying to make it through my first year of college without my gpa dropping dramatically from the 3.5 that I already have. Wish me luck!
