What This Summer Is Really About

Typically for most students summer is a time to relax and enjoy life. For me summer is all about saving money, which means I need to stop spending money. Unfortunately my friends love to spend money it seems like. I really don’t have that option right now. Here’s why:

#1. Study Abroad (hopefully)
Next year I plan on studying abroad in Australia during the spring semester. While I hope that it all works out that means I really need to save money in order to do all the things I want. I also am trying to figure out how much flights are from Australia to Japan so that I can possibly visit family there.

#2. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE
Say whatever you want, but I must attend the Justin Timberlake concert. I am willing to forgo all other summer concerts just to see him in December. This probably seems extremely ridiculous, but I can’t help it. Buying Justin Timberlake tickets though isn’t cheap, which is just another reason among others why saving money is mandatory this summer.

#3. Gas
More importantly I pay for a lot of my own things. I pay for gas, my clothes (except for work, thanks dad) and going out with friends. On the top of those things gas is the most important, however, sometimes I forget that minor detail and spend gas money on other things. I am trying to work on that.

While this summer will still somewhat be fun, I definitely need to save as much as I can. This probably means that I will need to teach myself something so I can consume my time without shopping…

  12. Summer is the best time of the year to save money. You’re not away at school and going out with friends every night so you will save just by not being there. Also, summer is the perfect time to get a little job to help supplement some of the costs associated with the activities you want to take part in. I remember working at the local ice cream shop when i was younger just so i can go buy some baseball cards! We have different reasons to want the money, but the way to get it is all the same :)

  13. What will you say when There’s no room for summer *sad*

1935 senesinde yaşayan hane sayısı 30′a kadar çıktı.

Your article really did turn the light on for me as far as this particular subject goes. Nevertheless at this time there is just one factor I am not really too cozy with and whilst I make an effort to reconcile that with the main idea of the issue, allow me observe exactly what all the rest of your readers have to point out.Well done.

Ask the camp director about dress codes first off. I worked at a summer camp last year and our shorts had to be fingertip length, we couldn’t wear tops that exposed our shoulders, back, and stomach. And we had to wear a one piece bathing suit or a tank top or tee shirt over our bikinis. I would bring a weeks worth of clothing and wash clothes once a week. Bring your own washing powders and such, just in case they don’t supply that.

One of the best ways I ever saved money was by throwing every loonie and toonie I got into a jar (yes I’m Canadian!). Try throwing every $1 bill into a jar perhaps. They’ll add up pretty quickly.
