This really crept up on me! About a week ago I was all “scheduling isn’t for a while! I’ll put together my classes later!”
Bad move.
So scheduling for me started on Monday, and I was woefully unprepared. Luckily in pharmacy school there isn’t a whole lot you have to plan. Just on what days and times you want to sit through long group sessions/labs. For next semester, my classes were really easy–and I even got to pick out a professional elective!
For my STS minor, I needed to take a specific elective that counted for my pharmacy elective AND and STS course. Unfortunately, that class is only taught every other year–and I just found this out!!
So right now, I’m trying to find another STS course to take, and in the spring I will be taking two professional electives. This is actually awesome for me because these are the courses I want to take:
- Public Health
- Illicit Drugs (hehehe)
- Infectious Disease
- I’m sure there’s a fourth one but I can’t think of it
Anyway, being able to take two electives spring semester is really exciting for me. I am also a nerd, so that helps.
On the other hand, I will be taking biostatistics in the fall. That, I am not nerdy enough to appreciate.

In fact, it sort of terrifies me. What is that?!
