Listen, I’m reeeeally messy. I keep the kitchen and living room and other such common areas clean, I assure you. But my room.
Don’t get me started on my room.
Okay, I’m started on my room. I think my brain has a one-track mind, like a rhinoceros stampeding the water hole. When I get back from class, I have to move on to the next thing. That means my coat gets thrown on my bed, and I take my shoes off and leave them sitting in the middle of the floor, then my backpack gets similarly abandoned.
Every time I stop and try to clean my room, I feel like I need to be studying, or doing something worthwhile. I’m not really the kind of person who requires a completely clean space to function. I definitely like a clean space, but it’s not enough to talk myself into cleaning.
On breaks and things, I actually like cleaning things up, especially in my room at home. But my next biggest problem is that I have too much stuff and very little organizational skills. At least when it comes to stuff. I swear I can organize notes like a champ.
And, in my defense, I didn’t get a chance to unpack my laundry and things from Thanksgiving break (I’ve been living out of laundry bags), and I will be leaving in less than a week. Why take it all out when it’s just going home?!
In more important news, here’s a sneak peak of Christmas at the Zoo!
