About Me:

Hey everyone, I am Cathryn. I am going into my 5th year of pharmacy at Butler University. I am also working toward a minor in Science, Technology & Society! In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and writing. I've been working on NaNoWriMo and am hoping to be published at some point in the near future as well. Most of the time you can catch me studying in the library or browsing the Internet. Oh, and did I mention that I got married last summer?

Finally Friday!

If only I didn’t have an ungodly long class from 2-5 today! My Friday doesn’t start until later this evening. (I know, woe is me, right?)

I added this little .gif to my bookmarks bar because it is my favorite .gif ever (I take that back–I have two favorite .gifs ever and I will show you the other one at a later date). I think it is the perfect complement to this lovely Friday morning.

"It's Not Unusual" by Tom Jones should be turned on immediately

It’s been unusually hot this week. Lows in the 50s and 40s in the morning with highs in the 80s by about noon! That is wardrobe insanity. I have a heavy black cardigan for the mornings, which I swiftly abandon in my car and try to withstand the rest of the day in jeans and, dangnabit, boots because it is October and it should be boot weather.

I need to take a moment to quickly announce that my phone’s Gmail capabilities have been severely compromised and I have yet to figure out why. I recently made a new Gmail account (to replace my old Gmail account, which I had since I was first invited to Gmail in its pioneer days in ’05). My Droid is registered under that old Gmail account, and while I haven’t messed with trying to update my account to the new one, I think it is rebelling. Case in point: I took a picture of the bell tower on my phone yesterday and it refuses to show up in my email inbox so I can get it on the Internet.

Curse you, Droid!! I’m going to get an iPhone! (Heck no, not really.)
