I just was checking Facebook and saw that President Obama is doing an AMA on Reddit. What does that mean? WELL.

First I have to show you the confirmation picture. And that the Reddit moderators and administrators confirmed with the Oval Office that it is actually the President doing it. Because oh-em-gee this is awesome.
A Reddit AMA–or Ask Me Anything–is exactly what it sounds like: people will go on and let other users ask them whatever they want. A lot of the time the AMA “hosts” are celebrities that people on Reddit (which is a forum-like place where people post pictures/stories) want to talk to. For the President to even remotely know what Reddit is is AMAZING. I would link to the actual AMA page, but I can’t be held accountable for the thousands of posts there and what they might say. Here are some highlights:
“I am recent law school graduate. Despite graduating from a top school, I find myself unemployed with a large student loan debt burden. … We worked for you, we campaigned for you, and we turned out in record numbers to vote for you. What can I say to encourage those in similar situations as I am to show up again in November? What hope can you offer us for your second term?” – hmlee
ugh for student debt, social issues, education issues, and economic recession, a lot of people on Reddit still care about space. hold off on space for a bit.
“Mr. President – What issues, if any, do you agree with Mitt Romney that are not commonly endorsed by the majority of the Democratic Party? – neonsnow”
Oooo! I like this. Honestly the rest of the questions seem pretty small time. I really could care less about legalizing certain, uhm, substances. And the TSA. I know that they’re awful but I don’t travel, ever. I just don’t. There are bigger issues at hand! THE ECONOMY, FOR ONE.
Okay I better stop looking at these questions. Anyway, I’ll be super excited to see how all of this goes later tonight! And I will see all of you on the flip side, hopefully with a vlog!!
