Reasons 1-999,999: Sarah Barnes Diaz!
Sarah nabbed this year’s Woman of Distinction award, given in honor of Women’s History Month!
Sarah is such an outstanding member of the Butler community. Not only is she the adviser for PAWS, but she also gives talks at Greek houses, heads the Victim Advocate Program, and is always available in her office with open ears!
Did I mention she teaches a peer education class too?!
Sarah’s not the only one winning awards, either. We attended the BACCHUS Area 7 Conference and took home the award for this year’s best peer education group!
We had so much fun at the conference! We learned a lot about other school’s peer education programs, got to meet peer educators from Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky, AND we got to visit Baldwin-Wallace College.
Don’t forget that this semester’s Stress Less Week is coming up in TWO WEEKS. I’ll post the schedule when it’s all settled!!
