I’ve been fiercely unhappy with my hair lately. It got really long, and because I’m lazy, I don’t like having to deal with long hair. It takes forever to wash, forever to comb, forever to dry. It gets all tangled and it requires way too much product to keep it from getting all over the place. I wore my hair up for like two months straight because I didn’t feel like dealing with it.
So idea number one was to get a new hair straightener. I did some research online, looked for one that got at least 400 degrees, and then I made my selection.
I was pleased. Now came the matter of the length/style. I’m due for a haircut, but I didn’t want to go somewhere and spend $40 for a shampoo + style. I needed someone I could trust to cut my crazy curly hair, though.
Then I pulled a 180 and let Ashley cut my hair on New Year’s Eve.
As a little background, Ashley used to cut Kass’s hair when we lived together at Butler, so I was familiar with her work.
It turned out really well! Ashley really missed her calling, I think. Haha. Anyway, to finish up our NYE weekend, we went to The Roost for breakfast, where I debuted my new hair.
