About Me:

Hey everyone, I am Cathryn. I am going into my 5th year of pharmacy at Butler University. I am also working toward a minor in Science, Technology & Society! In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and writing. I've been working on NaNoWriMo and am hoping to be published at some point in the near future as well. Most of the time you can catch me studying in the library or browsing the Internet. Oh, and did I mention that I got married last summer?

Current Favorite Things

I love all the things!

Finally, after my entire life of not watching any movies ever, I have finally started catching up on all of those flicks everyone loved and yells at me when I haven’t seen. Netflix assists on my journey.

So far, we’ve acquired Step Brothers, The Hangover, Fargo, Pineapple Express, Casablanca, On the Waterfront, and a couple of others that are escaping me right now. I thought The Hangover was slightly disappointing (I think it’s been talked about for so long nothing really surprised me), but I loved the snot out of Step Brothers and everything else. “We have so much more room for activities!!”

Music-wise, I am in love with Adele’s “Someone Like You.” It’s such a powerful song with a lot of soul. When it comes on the radio, I blast it and sing it at the top of my lungs and drive like crazy. If you see my car on Binford, just go around me and leave me to my singing.

I’ve been digging G. Love and I am really into Amos Lee’s album Mission Bell, especially the song “Flower.”

As for books, I am reading The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood and I love that it’s on the banned books list. So much so that one of my friends and I have decided to try and read all the books on the list. I’ve gotten through a couple already. Scandal!

My phone has still refused to release my bell tower picture. So here’s one I took of the sun coming up over our lake.
